Multiple people caring for your dog
11th October 2018
If you are a dog owner who is out of the house for much of the day, then your dog could become bored and even stressed if he is left at home alone. Allowing someone else to care for your dog while you are out will ensure he is kept entertained and exercised throughout the day.
Dog sitters
If your dog likes the company of other dogs, you could take them to a doggy day care centre so that they can keep active and entertained throughout the day, or you could find a dog sitter to take your dog out for a walk and play with them when you’re out of the house. Family members could also help out, and if they are well known by your dog, he might feel more comfortable in their company.
No matter who is looking after your dog when you’re not around, it can be hard to keep track of how well he is being cared for.
Introducing Animo
Whether your dog is being cared for by yourself, a family member, friend or pet sitter, Animo can help you to care for your pet like never before.
Animo is an activity and behaviour monitor for dogs that can tell you how active your dog has been each day and when your dog has been taken for a walk to give you peace of mind that he is being well cared for when they are in someone else’s hands.
Animo works using Bluetooth, and once synced, you can view the data within Animo’s app. You can give others access to the app so that they can also sync Animo. This is particularly useful if someone else is going to be looking after your dog for a prolonged period of time, for example when you go on holiday. This lets you keep track of your dog’s daily routine while you’re away, giving you peace of mind that your pet is being well cared for.
With Animo, you can view how long your dog has walked for and set activity goals to ensure your dog is getting enough exercise, whether you or someone else is looking after them.
