Mealtime harmony attained in cat and dog home
Why did you purchase two SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeders?
We've had a dog for a while now and we wanted a new family member who is now our little kitten. Kittens having sensitive tummies and a stressful time adjusting to new places brought the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder into perspective. I did my research and found a few that would only allow a certain pet to eat from the feeder. Most of the ones I came across were either too big with a weird design or they looked too commercial. Coming from a background of design, having a unique design was also one key factor. I wanted something that would look nice along with providing the concept behind the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder.
Have the feeders made mealtimes easier?
Yes, they certainly have!! Cats have to be on a strictly carnivorous diet while dogs can have certain fruits and vegetables. We knew Tarsus would need a while to adjust to his new home as well as the dog, and we didn't want both of them eating each other's food.
Here are some factors that the feeder has helped with:
- Fatty kept trying to eat Tarsus's food
- The kibble had a very strong smell, and being a vegetarian I really could not tolerate it
- Less kibble mess around the floor
- Perfect size; it fits comfortably anywhere
Have the feeders reduced pet food smells in your home?
Definitely, the smell of the kibble when the feeder is open is pretty strong especially because I'm a vegetarian and really don't want to have the smell of meat lingering around. So thank you SureFlap!!!
Have you noticed fewer flies lingering around your pets’ food?
We barely see any insects around and have not noticed any flies at all, which is wonderful!
Would you recommend the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder to other pet owners?
Of course. We've already recommended it to friends with multiple pets and everyone who comes in our home asks about the feeder.
Tarsus is such a cutie, that he has his own Instagram account!
